Mark Knopfler's Concert, Los Angeles

Tonight I went to Mark Knopfler's concert. The main guy of the band "Dire Straits". I remember the first time I got their album's cassette from my cousin when I was 14 years old. Those were generous times of course, and I had a lot of enthusiasm towards music. Most of my classmates used to listen to 90's heavy metal especially that of Metallica those days. Anyways, after a while I became a hardcore fan of Dire Straits for a while which was not very unexpected from a teenage boy like me. You know, you are young and you want to be different and what is better than being a big fan of a band that non of your friends knows of (does it make you different, I say no, but those days I would say yes). As a result, my bigest wish became seeing Mark Knopfler live in concert and tonight it happened.
Mark Knopfler is much different from what I was expected. Glad that I didn't see him while I was a big fan of his skillful solos and agile hands. This guy was so average tonight. Of course he still has a lot of things to say but you can see the aging in his new songs and his boredom while singing his old hits from Dire Straits.
He didn't even tried to make the crowd a little excited by playing his all time hits like "Money for nothing"! It was so mean. You come to his concert and he plays his goofy new songs that don't really have much new material to offer and he doesn't even bother playing his fans favorite songs.
It's unbelievable how life can change us.
Sorry , this post is too long and I just want to post it without any spell check.

First

Hello,

I never thought about creating a blog before. It was a 5-minute decision occurred while I was reading the blog of a friend of my mine. I suggest you to take a look at my profile to get an idea about me.
Now that I am writing this post I am frightened a little. Is it a good idea to share your thought with strangers? what if my friends find me a stupid or shallow person?...
There are lots of what ifs there.
I just give it a shot. Let's see what happens.
Cheers,
Pooya
